Kinja'd!!!

You can now build your own Hyundai zombie apocalypse survival machine.

Who wanted to do that? I have no idea.

I like the Veloster Turbo, and even so this is ridiculously goddamn stupid. Dodge has been doing similarly stupid product placement as well in Syfy's post-apocalyptic Defiance TV series and video game.

Then there was also that other post-apocalyptic shooter game I forget the name of which featured a near-identical Charger (except de-trunked so a gunner can sit in the trunk and fire over the roof) as one of the main vehicles.

In marketing this is what we call having good fun with a silly product and letting the people decide if it's good.

The Veloster inherently is a wacky car. I see nothing wrong with embracing it to the fullest extent and running with it.

Makes the car more interesting than 99% of the market period because of how they market and brand it.

Yes, this is the first vehicle I'd think of if we enter a post apocalyptic zombie world... A veloster....

I dig the whole post-apocalyptic look, really I do. My preference would be a for 4-wheel truck, but let's work with what we have here: a Veloster. The chainsaws are a nice touch, but the undead don't really need feet, so I'd move them up higher.

More importantly: the last thing you want are sharp pointy things on your grill that can get choked up with zombie parts. I think one would need to design the front of a zombie mobile to either push the undead out of your way — or push them neatly under the wheels. Like a snow plow or a giant rolling pin.

Just a thought.

props to the artist for putting extra weight over the front wheels. Someone actually thought about this.
